Celeb Costumes Up for Sale

Outfits worn by celebrities are part of a special pre-Halloween sale.

Just in time for Halloween, you can own some of the costumes and props that have graced the stage at the Old Globe in Balboa Park.

Some of the clothes on the racks include costumes worn by Desperate HousewivesMarcia Cross, Ugly Betty’s Michael Urie or Deirdre Lovejoy from Wired and LA Law.

You could go home with a piece from some a renowned designer:  Old Globe Associate Artist Robert Morgan of "Dr. Seuss’ How the Grinch Stole Christmas!", Robert Blackman of "Star Trek", "Pushing Daisies" or Laurie Churba who was previously part of the "Saturday Night Live" design team.

Props are up for grabs as well. Browse through items like the pouf from 1989’s "Up in Saratoga", the witches’ cauldron from 2005’s "The Scottish Play" and the wooden horse from the 2007 version of "Two Gentlemen of Verona."

Check out the merch at the Costume and Prop Sale on Saturday, October 18 from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. in the Globe’s Technical Center, located at 5335 Market Street.

All costumes and props are sold as is. All sales are final. No refunds or exchanges. Cash, checks, and credit cards are all accepted.
