Something new is coming to the nightlife in Hillcrest.
Eden is bringing down the walls Jan. 11, when it celebrates it's grand opening of a half-million dollar newly renovated venue. It's a dual entertainment venue, with the restaurant run by Chef Scotty Wagner.
"Hillcrest is known for it's vibrant and active nightlife," said co-owner David Laurent of NightlifeSD. "Our goal with Eden is to exceed expectations by taking the local scene up a couple notches by raising the bar for Uptown's nightlife and dining."
It's invite only to the ribbon-cutting ceremony with San Diego's Mayor Jerry Sanders. Councilman Todd Gloria will take on hosting duties, which starts at 7pm , but starting at 9pm, it's open to the public.
"I've been active in the Hillcrest community for over 20 years and I am confident that Eden will serve as San Diego's foremost Gay & Lesbian venue, " says Eden's Nightlife Manager, Michael Mack.
It's one gigantic complex--15,000 square feet of nightlife facility including an "overlook lounge" and plush seating.
The Perry Twins will headline the entertainment.
