Mission Brewing Company famous for its “Ship Wreck” beer is located in downtown San Diego at 1441 L St. Check out their website or "hop" over there for happy hour.
Karl Strauss Brewing Company famous for “Amber Lager” beer and has multiple locations throughout the county, including Sorrento Mesa, La Jolla, and Carlsbad. Check out the award-winning beers during their happy hour, when beers are only $3.

Green Flash Brewing Company, located at 6550 Mira Mesa Blvd., is famous for its signature beer West Coast IPA. The brewers have wonmultiple awards and have a tasting room you can check out Tuesday through Sunday.
We couldn't get away without mentioning one of San Diego's most famous beer spots: Stone Brewery. The monolith brewery/restaurant is a testament to San Diego's craft beer powers, and it's unusual location doesn't deter beer fanatics from making the pilgrimage up I-15 to Escondido.
Pizza Port owners started brewing beer as a hobby, and as their production started “overflowing,” the company expanded into three other locations: Port Carlsbad, which offers the Carlsbad Cream Ale, Port Solana Beach offers California Honey Ale, and Port San Clemente offers Pier Rat Porter.
