San Diego is a top destination for Memorial Day weekend, so there are a ton of things to do around town that have nothing to do with music. But my suggestion? Find some sun and fun and then catch some music. Expect Petco's Park In the Park to be packed for the final day of My LED (that's "My Life Everyday" to the uninitiated). If I had my way, I would've planned ahead and secured Jenny Lewis tickets at the House of Blues, because she's basically the queen of indie rock, but it looks like you can still catch tickets to Supersuckers at Soda Bar, Cash'd Out at Belly Up and Sleep at Observatory. Tomorrow is slim pickings with lots of venues closed for the holiday, so get your fix tonight and get a nice and well deserved day of recovery tomorrow.
