Bon Appetít Mon Ami!

To all of you cuisine connoisseurs out there, the Coeur de Cuisine is finally here!

More than thirty restaurants and wineries will gather at the California Center for the Arts, Escondido this Sunday to participate in the sixth annual Coeur de Cuisine event, according to our media partner the North County Times.

The anticipated $100,000 dollars this event is expected to raise will be donated to local charities aimed toward granting scholarships to Escondido high school students.

Restaurants, wineries, and beverage purveyors will distribute "generous" menu tasters, while the chefs will attempt to outdo one another with delectable gourmet samples.

Some of the featured entrees include lobster mac 'n' cheese and macadamia nut tart with caramel sauce from The Grill at Maderas; duck jambalaya from Stone Brewery World Bistro & Gardens; prime Brandt beef sirloin from Hamilton Meats & Provisions; and guava pork from Hacienda de Vega.

Tickets are $125 for unreserved seating, $300 for reserved seating and a pre-event hosted reception at 4 p.m.
