Tonight, Bernhoft -- the Grammy-nominated Norwegian -- performs at the Casbah. With his fourth record, "The Fashion Bruises," he recorded with a full band for a more "organic" feel to his R&B sound. He's also recorded with San Diego Music Award-winner Raelee Nikole, which kinda brings him full circle to tonight's show. Around town, the deep vocal stylings of Colter Wall has made him quite the phenom with a sold-out show at the Belly Up; Berkeley-bred producer and DJ KSHMR plays trance and house at the Observatory North Park; and Seattle-based Valley Maker brings an interesting, almost trip-hop twist, to your standard folk fare.
