A woman accused of beating a gas station clerk with a metal weapon for beer was arrested in Vista Thursday night, said San Diego police.
The woman and two men tried to buy beer at the Shell gas station on Mira Mesa Boulevard near Interstate 15, police said.
The clerk refused to sell it to them because they didn't have valid identification. The woman walked out to her car, grabbed a metal object and beat the clerk on the head. The clerk has minor injuries.
The suspects took off but an officer saw them on the freeway and arrested them on Sycamore Avenue.
