Sounds Like San Diego: April 29

Head to the Casbah for some psych rock fun with locals Aunt Cynthia's Cabin

Oh, man. What a weekend. I take a lot of pride in having the most exhaustive event listings, so I feel terrible when, mid-weekend, I realize I didn't even get them all. Hopefully, you found your way around town for all the good things. Monday is a great day of rest, but for people who had to work through it and need an outlet, or you just didn't get enough, head to the Casbah for some psych rock fun with locals Aunt Cynthia's Cabin. And while I predict local rock band Fair Play will likely change their name when they realize how many others in the world share their moniker, it doesn't take away from the fun original rock they'll bring to Soda Bar tonight. For jazz lovers, celebrate Duke Ellington's birthday with the Mellotones at Dizzy's, or party with Paloma Loca at Bar Pink. There are lots of things to choose when it's Industry Night in San Diego, and I, for one, am just happy knowing that if I get the itch, I can definitely find a way to scratch it.
