Sounds Like San Diego: Nov. 10

If all goes according to plan, Morrissey will headline Copley Symphony Hall on Saturday

Well, look at you, San Diego. For artists and agents, our chill vibe can be frustrating and even a deterrent to booking the market because we're a notorious late buying city, yet here we are with three amazing sold out shows. Of course, Morrissey is sold out. The famously cantankerous singer is performing at Symphony Hall, and though he has a reputation for often canceling shows at the last minute, he loves Southern California, where he basks not only in the adoration of our town, but of the massive number of fans who'll trek across the border to see him. All Them Witches have also sold out the Casbah (which will make for an excellent and packed intimate show), as has Khruangbin at the Observatory. Beloved reggae act Pepper play at the fall run of the races, Tijuana electronic artist Ethics play at Soda Bar and Brazilian Choro sound off at Dizzy's.
