Oh, man. It's the longest day of the year and we are being rewarded with some amazing shows tonight. I mean, Alanis Morissette is so iconic and when "Jagged Little Pill" released, it was so unlike anything else that she's almost become an honorary character on "This Is Us" with respect to the character Kate's love of her music. Tonight, she plays an acoustic show at Humphreys and you better believe it will be amazing. Over at Soda Bar, our pal and former frontman of Delta Spirit, Matthew Logan Vasquez, returns. He's living in Europe these days, so you should try to catch him when he makes the trip. The Belly Up will be quite the party as kings of Afrobeat, Antibalas, return to town, and Darius Rucker puts his country career on pause as he returns with Hootie & the Blowfish to the big amphitheatre in Chula Vista. Music lovers have a lot to celebrate tonight with a feast for our ears.
