9/15: Tonight is the Night

Art and music take your Wednesday night to new heights

MUSIC MAKERS: The Damon Castillo Band will rock the Anthology tonight combing a unique blend of rock, soul, funk and jazz. The band is a fresh breath of air to music and it’s all about “real musicians playing real tunes” Castillo says. 8:30 p.m.

LOCAL ART: Art takes center stage at West Coast Tavern when the North Park Art Community celebrates local talent and a Guidebook to the cities' best art destinations. Starting at 7 p.m., the event will showcase pieces from artists featured in the book with work including street art, jewelry, mixed media, photography, sculptures and more. 21 and up

PUNK’S NOT DEAD: British punk legends, The Adicts, are going to play at House of Blues. Known for the hit "Viva La Revolution" and their onstage attire of all white, black bowler hats and boots (with lead singer Keith "Monkey" Warren in joker make-up) their live shows are something you don’t want to miss. 7 p.m.
