7/17: Roots Music

Live reggae music, an evening stroll, and sour Polish soup... our top picks of the night.

ROOTS MUSIC: It’s time to play that reggae music. The Legalize It Tour is coming to the Cricket Wireless Ampitheatre at 8 p.m. Slightly Stoopid, Cypress Hill, Collie Buddz, Steel Pulse, and The Expendables will be playing. Tickets are $21.25-$37.50.

EVENING STROLL: The South Park Walkabout is surefire way to put a little pep in your step tonight. The nighttime walk in South Park will guide you on a path to live music, shopping in local boutiques, and most importantly food. There is free parking at Christ United Presbyterian Church and Gala Foods if you can’t find parking in the neighborhood. Starts at 6 p.m.

ZUREK: Zur-who?! Zurek... It’s the homemade Polish sour soup aka the “hangover remedy” that will be served to keep you going at Polish Happy Hour. The Coaster Saloon in Mission Beach will have a full menu of Polish drinks at Happy Hour prices all night. Grab your friends and head to the Coaster Saloon at 8 p.m.
