STEP ASIDE TACO TUESDAY:  It’s time to think outside the taco shell at the Pearl Hotel—Executive Chef Spencer Johnston’s famous Ground Meyer Ranch Chuck Burger with caramelized onions, La Milpa lettuce, smoked Gouda and fries. Now we’re talking! This comes with a beer of your choice for $15. Burger Tuesday is from 6-10 p.m. at the Pearl Hotel Restaurant.

PROMISED LAND: A screening of Youba Richen’s documentary about race, reconciliation and land reform in post-apartheid South Africa will be at the Malcom X Library. Starts at 6 p.m. and is free to all with a heart for those in South Africa.
A BIT OF BRILLIANCE: After touring over 100 cities on five continents, Shen Yun Performing Arts comes to San Diego for a spectacular, original production of Chinese dance and music. The show has left millions awed by the brilliant choreography, costumes, and backdrops. The live orchestra is at the San Diego Civic Theatre 7:30-10 p.m. Cost is $80. Steep price, stunning show.
