11/19: This Fun is No Secret

BRINGIN' THE FUNNY TO THE GASLAMP: The only comedy show in downtown San Diego is unlike any comedy show in town. The show takes place at The Bitter End at 7:15 p.m. and tickets are just $10. Look for some familiar faces because the touring comics are regulars on Comedy Central, Last Comic Standing, Chelsea Lately, The Jay Leno Show, HBO, Showtime and more. Don’t miss this premier standup comedy showcase! But if you do, it happens every last Thursday of every month!

DON’T LET THE SECRET OUT: Hush, the new restaurant and lounge at Stingaree has happy hour specials that will have you wanting to keep the secret all to yourself. Redefining Thursday nights, the new supper club is undeniably hip, but surprisingly affordable. From 5 p.m. to 2 a.m. half off signature cocktails, select wines and drafts will be served. The late-night eats include Sicilian Shrimp Crab Cakes and a Brandt “All Natural” beef burger. Sounds delish!

LOVE IS MY RELIGION: Roger Clyne & the Peacemakers are set to hit Belly Up Tavern at 9 p.m. If the name sounds familiar to you, it’s probably because Clyne used to be the front man for The Refreshments, but for the last decade he’s been touring with the new group. Snag tickets to the southwestern rock n roll band for just $15 to $17.
