Through his attorney, Dr. Biter declines to specifically comment on the matters pending before the Medical Board and intends to present his defense to these unproven allegations at a hearing.
He will be calling, as a witness, one of the patients identified in the Accusation, who entirely supports the care Dr. Biter has provided her and, to this day, continues to refer friends to him. Dr. Biter strives to consistently provide his patients with care and treatment which exceeds the standard for the community. He is enrolled in the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists’ Road to Maintaining Excellence program, which assists interested and motivated physicians in advancing their knowledge and continuing to practice medicine at the highest level.
Dr. Biter is a Board Certified obstetrician and gynecologist in the San Diego community. He is loved and supported by a vast array of patients and makes San Diego a stronger place with the provision of his medical and community services. In addition to providing excellent medical care to his patients, Dr. Biter is committed to improving women’s and children’s health. Specifically, he founded Her Heart’s Wish, a wish-granting program for terminally ill adult women, and is a co-owner of Babies by the Sea Boutique which is dedicated to providing natural baby and toddler products and disseminating information to parents, enabling them to make informed decisions regarding their children’s health and well-being.
He has been recognized on a national level for his work by the American Medical Association, which honored him with the Foundation Leadership Award and the National Health Services Scholarships. On a local level, he was awarded a 2007 Scripps Physician Leadership Award, named one of San Diego’s 40 under 40 in the San Diego Metropolitan Magazine, and selected as the best OB/GYN for the past four years by the readers of Ranch and Coast Magazine.
