Fallon, Leno Take on the Golden Globes

From awkward speeches to wardrobe malfunctions, Jimmy Fallon and Jay Leno had a field day on the Golden Globe Awards.

LENO

"The Tonight Show" host began his Globes recap by praising Tina Fey and Amy Poehler's performances.

"Of course the big one was 'American Hustle,' a film about the marketing of Obamacare," Leno then joked.

Leno also took on Jacqueline Bisset's rambling acceptance speech.

"I always feel bad for the presenters at the Golden Globes because people are always talking," Leno said. "Like at one point it got so loud Jacqueline Bisset couldn't hear the voices in her own head.

"What was that last night?" Leno continued. "There were speculations she was drunk but that wasn't the case. Take a look, I'll show you what really happened."

Leno then showed doctored footage of Gary Busey holding Bisset's cue cards

Leno wrapped up by talking about Robin Wright's minor wardrobe malfunction. The "House of Cards" actress inadvertently flashed flesh-colored pasties underneath her dress when she took the stage to accept an award.

Leno blamed the difficult route the actress had to take to get onto the stage. Then, he showed more doctored footage of Wright entering the stage on a slide.

FALLON

The "Late Night" host also had some fun with Bisset's speech. Fallon said the actress possibly thought she had more time to speak because it was early into the show.

Fallon played an edited clip showing a series of Bisset's pauses, followed by a clip of her saying, "Go to hell and don't come back."

However, Fallon wasn't done having his fun.

"Last night at the Golden Globes Woody Allen received the Cecil B. DeMille Award," Fallen said. "Allen wasn't there to accept his award, but neither was Jacqueline Bisset."

Fallon also brought up Michael Douglas, who won a Golden Globe for his performance as Liberace in "Behind the Candelabra."

"I asked him what it was like to play someone of a different sexual preference and he said 'I was going to ask you the same thing,'" Fallon said.

Fallon ended his bit by talking about one of his favorite actresses, Emma Thompson.

"While presenting the award for best screenplay, our pal Emma Thompson showed up onstage barefoot and drinking a martini," Fallon said, "which incidentally is the same way my dad gave my wedding toast."
