It's the second weekend of the San Diego County Fair and the fun is in full swing. Cheers to these highlights at the fairgrounds this weekend: from live music to a wine festival.

Saturday, June 13

Colbie Caillat
7:30 p.m., Heineken Grandstand Stage
The two-time Grammy winner and singer of “Try” will bring her sweet sounding vocals to the fair Saturday. Unreserved seats in the 3rd and 5th levels are free with paid admission into the fair. Otherwise, reserved seats in the 2nd and 4th levels range between $16 and $30 for children and adults (plus Ticketmaster convenience fees), or between $22 and $36 in the Terrace section. A dinner package is also available for $106 and includes floor-level concert seating, fair admission, preferred parking and a three-course meal before the show at the Turf Club.

Out at the Fair
10 a.m. to 10 p.m., Multiple Locations: Family Funville, Paddock Stage, Rock On Stage
This full-day of family-friendly activities celebrates the LGBT community and the work of local LGBT organizations. Family Funville will host activities for the kids from 10 a.m. until 6 p.m., plus wine tasting for adults in the San Diego Pavilion from 4 p.m. to 5 p.m. The Paddock Stage will host live music from several artists throughout the day and the Rock On Stage will do the same – plus a DJ contest and the 21+ Rich’s After Dark event beginning at 9 p.m.

The Toast of the Coast Wine Festival
Two tasting sessions: 12 p.m. to 3 p.m. and 4 p.m. to 7 p.m.
This one’s for the winos. Attendees to this fest at the fair can enjoy unlimited 1-ounce samples of more than 110 fine wines from 80+ California and Baja California wineries. The Baja Food and Wine Pavilion will offer food samples from Baja chefs. Bottles of your favorite wines from the tasting event will be available for purchase, too. Tickets range from $62 to $90 and can be purchased on the Toast of the Coast website.

Sunday, June 14

Asian Festival
10 a.m. to 9 p.m., Del Mar Arena
This inaugural celebration of Asian and Pacific Islander cultures will boast music, dance and martial arts performances, plus dozens of organizations representing China, Philippines, India, Korea, Japan, Polynesia, Indonesia, and Vietnam. The festival will also feature a Best Dance Crew contest with performances from Southern California hip hop groups moving to the music. See the full schedule of events here.

Parachute Jump
4 p.m., the sky
The Chula Vista-based Frog-X Parachute Team will drop from the sky above the fairgrounds at around 4 p.m., trailing a giant American flag. This is all to celebrate Flag Day and the adoption of the Stars and Stripes on June 14, 1777.

The Robert Cray Band
9 p.m., Paddock Stage
The five-time Grammy-winning blues icon will showcase his impressive guitar skills on the Paddock Stage, rocking your Sunday night at the fair. The Blues Hall of Fame legend will be joined on stage by original bandmate and longtime childhood friend Richard Cousins on bass, Les Falconer on drums and Dover Weinberg on piano/keyboards. The unreserved standing area at this concert costs between $18 and $24 for children, adults and seniors, including fair admission, or $10 for all ages without fair admission. Reserved tickets range from $46 to $52, including fair admission, or $38 for all ages without fair admission.
