If you're experiencing a little 'summertime sadness,' this news should perk you right up: Lana Del Rey is heading out on a national tour and it stops at SDSU's Cal Coast Credit Union Open Air Theatre on Oct. 11.

Tickets for the Friday night show go on sale to the general public on Friday, Aug. 9, at 10 a.m. PST. Visit LiveNation.com for more information.

Coinciding with the upcoming Aug. 30 release of her sixth studio album, "Norman F---ing Rockwell," the new tour marks Lizzy's first time back in San Diego since her joint tour with Kali Uchis hit Valley View Casino Center in February 2018.

On Wednesday, the singer/songwriter/poet officially announced her new album and dropped its cover art (on which she poses with Duke Nicholson, the grandson of actor Jack) and a 14-song tracklist.

Thus far, she's released three singles from the record, including "Mariners Apartment Complex," "Venice Bitch" and "Hope Is a Dangerous Thing for a Woman Like Me to Have -- but I Have It." She also recently dropped a cover of Sublime's "Doin' Time" as part of the soundtrack for a documentary on the band.

Del Rey originally rose to fame in 2011 following the viral success of her debut single "Video Games." After signing to Interscope and Polydor records, her major label debut album "Born to Die" proved an international success and she followed it with three more well-received records. The singer has received four Grammy Award nominations to-date -- including Best Pop Vocal Album for her 2018 full-length effort "Lust for Life."
