A hotel in Carlsbad has been ranked one of the top family-friendly hotels in the United States, according to a list released by TripAdvisor.
The West Inn and Suites located at 4970 Avenida Encinas in Carlsbad was ranked No. 4 on the round-up of the best hotels in the nation for families.
TripAdvisor says the hotels that made the cut were the most highly-rated on their website based on millions of reviews by users who traveled with family.
According to the West Inn’s website, the hotel is located five minutes from LEGOLAND and guests get complimentary milk and cookies at bedtime. Seriously, what kid wouldn’t love that?
Most of the other hotels that made the family-approved list are in Orlando, Fla., with many near the famously family-friendly Walt Disney World Resort.
The top 10 resorts and hotels that made the cut include: Marriott’s Harbour Lake in Orlando, Fla.; Lake Buena Vista Resort Village & Spa in Orlando; Village at Indian Point in Brandon, Mo.; Disney’s Beach Club Resort in Orlando; Bay Lake Tower at Disney’s Contemporary Resort in Orlando; Red Jacket Mountain View Resort in North Conway, N.H.; WorldQuest Orlando Resort in Orlando, Fla.; Woodloch Pines Resort in Hawley, Penn.
The No. 1 spot was given to the Floridays Resort in Orlando.
