St. Patrick's Day Will shamROCK

Go green at the biggest party downtown on March 17

Are you ready for green beer?

St. Patrick’s Day graciously falls on a weekend this year, which means you can have a Sunday “funday” this March 17.

Thousands of people will flock downtown to party and listen to live Irish bands at this year’s shamROCK festival.  The Irish dancers will be busting their best moves and Celtic Folk music will play at the Dublin main stage. Two DJ’s will also spin tunes to jam to until midnight.

Everything that can be green will be green.  More than 80,000 square feet of Astroturf will blanket the streets of the Gaslamp District. Green beer will be served by Miller. And the nearly 20,000 attendees will surely be wearing an emerald hue.

You won’t need the luck of the Irish to attend this event. Tickets to ShamROCK are $35 in advance and can be purchased online. The party begins at 2 p.m. on Sunday, March 17 in the Gaslamp District.
