In the food world, a margarita and a taco may very well be the most perfect combination, and one local Mexican eatery is celebrating that mouthwatering match with something dubbed “TacoBar Saturdays.”
Puesto – located at 789 West Harbor Dr. at The Headquarters at Seaport, and at 1026 Wall St. in La Jolla – will launch a new, weekly dining ritual beginning this Saturday.
Every Saturday, from 9 p.m. to midnight, patrons that order a Puesto Perfect Margarita in the bar will receive one free taco.
The unlimited deal – valid at both Puesto locations – features menu favorites like the Chicken al Pastor, Carnitas and Zucchini & Cactus tacos. New options, including Chef Luisteen Gonzalez’s special tacos are also available during TacoBar hours.
By the way, to celebrate the launch of TacoBar, both locations will feature DJs spinning tunes this Saturday as TacoBar debuts.
Puesto at The Headquarters is open daily from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m., while the La Jolla eatery is open daily from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. The eatery is known for its gourmet twist on Mexican fare, including its extensive taco selections.
