Jump on that surfboard, kayak, body board or any other human-powered craft and join the 22nd Annual Paddle for Clean Water in Ocean Beach.
The event draws all sorts of people to the Ocean Beach Pier to show their enthusiasm for taking care of our coast.
This year, organizers hope to raise awareness about plastics. Also, by using StayClassy, participants can raise money for clean water initiatives.
You don’t have to get wet to take part. There will be a donation-based yoga class at 8:30 a.m. or the opportunity for some post-paddle eats at Wonderland.
The paddle takes place Sunday, Sept. 21 from 9 a.m. to noon at the Ocean Beach Pier.
