Del Mar Fairgrounds Hosts Fall Home and Garden Show

The three-day home improvement event runs Sept. 11-13

Homeowners seeking a little home improvement inspiration may want to head to Del Mar this weekend as the Fairgrounds hosts its 26th annual Fall Home and Garden Show.

The three-day event begins Friday at 11 a.m. and runs through 5 p.m. Sunday at O’Brien Hall at the Del Mar Fairgrounds on Jimmy Durante Boulevard.

The show will feature interior design and garden displays, remodeling ideas, hands-on demonstrations and educational seminars. It will also serve as a one-stop shopping hub for everything one could possible need for a home or garden.

Organizers say the indoor-outdoor event includes hundreds of exhibitors showcasing the newest products and trends for the home and garden.

Attendees will also get a chance to check out a special interior design exhibit that includes a walk-through of rooms featuring the work of members from the San Diego American Society of Interior Designers (ASID).

The Fall Home and Garden Show takes place from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Friday, from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Saturday and 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sunday. Tickets cost $8 for adults at the door, $6 if purchased ahead of time online and $6 if attending after 3 p.m. Children 12 and under get in free and seniors can snag a ticket for just $1 in a special deal available only Friday. Parking at the Fairgrounds is $10.
