Jump into June with a plethora of electronic music options as we near the halfway point of 2018!
The second weekend of the month kicks off as of Thursday, June 7, with the Tribe Out West crew takeover at Shelter in Encinitas. The crew has been on a rampage with a variety of fabulous releases and on this night, Susio, Donald Thump, Mitch Dodge and Delos jump on the decks for an all-night Tribe dance, along with Alive resident Gabe Vega.
For rooftop daytime lovers, Soul Work returns to the Porto Vista Hotel for another edition of Eden featuring "All Day I Dream’s" HOJ + Saand. Enjoy yourself into the night as the sun goes down and after that, hit a couple of options to continue with the dancing: If you seek some proper house and techno, Luis Miranda (Transmit, Techlepatic), Massio (Genius Loci, Techlepatic), and Donald Thump take you on a voyage of the darker sides of four-to-the-floor at Tech Support. No cover. No lines. Going down at Kava Lounge.
Also going down less than a couple of miles away, a raging banana party at Parq with world-headlining Dada Life on the decks (and booth) with plenty of Champagne for everyone in the splash zone.
Continuing on their road to this year’s YouTopia, Digital Cocoon presents Digital Kitty at Atomic Nightclub. Plenty of beats with key selectors featuring Lavin, Hugs, Ozlanski, Hokum will keep you dancing and the delish original drink selections will keep you buzzing and vibing.
For those that love the underground vibes and missed our truly "underground" 4/20 party in April, Don't Sweat the Technique features a legendary techno DJ producer, Alexander Technique, in the same location. To access this party you’ll have to seek out the info, so look out for the flyers to this truly legendary event.
Speaking of legendary, the one-and-only Tiesto returns to San Diego on Friday, June 22, at Omnia San Diego. If you’ve yet to catch him (where have you been?) then head over -- maybe he’ll even bring a surprise guest along, as he usually does. With plenty of new surprises in a venue like the spontaneous kinetic lighting shows, every visit to Omnia is an experience.

Rounding out that weekend is a monumental event as dance music returns to the San Diego Convention Center for NGHT MVS XL presented by FNGRS CRSSD. Going from outdoors to indoors, day to night, the landscape set for this event is complimented by a fabulous lineup featuring Green Velvet, Lee K, Nicole Moudaber, Prok & Fitch, Seth Troxler and more. Get up to get down till 3 a.m. at the CRSSD Sails Pavilion (also at the San Diego Convention Center) and Terrace on Saturday, June 23.
The following Saturday, hop aboard the Booty Boat featuring Lee Foss and Dale Howard, plus Lovelife bosses Dadon and Jimno James go b2b. Combating June gloom with amazing high-70s weather, it’s all going down at the Inspiration Hornblower.
