Foodies will fall for some of these new, top-notch dining options in the North County

From ground-up remodel projects to cafes, San Diego's North County is buzzing with brand-new restaurants this autumn that foodies are sure to fall for. "Farm-to-table" seems to be the name of the game and local venues are winning big. Check out these top-notch selections from Yelp.

AVANT (17550 Bernardo Oaks Dr, Rancho Bernardo):
Coined as a “forward idea in dining” this new kid on the block replaces the old standard, revamping the Rancho Bernardo restaurant scene with a fresh facelift. Private dining rooms feature a full chef’s kitchen and a boardroom fit for scotch and a king. The menu is a local’s dream and brunch features a "Build-Your-Own" Bloody Mary option.

Morada (5951 Linea Del Cielo, The Inn At Rancho Santa Fe):
"Morada" means “house of many rooms” and trust us, the room you want to be in is the kitchen. Three meals a day are served at this Cali-ranch restaurant with a home-style feel and Rancho Santa Fe equestrian vibe. The menu features neighborhood favorites like steamed black Carlsbad mussels served with Spanish chorizo, cilantro and shishito peppers.

Sublime Tavern (3790 Via De La Valle, Del Mar):
If gourmet comfort food is what you crave, this unique option will feed your every desire! There’s grown-up mac and cheese galore and over 50 beers on tap in this friendly and remodeled neighborhood venue across from the Polo Fields. Reclaimed bourbon barrels were used in the décor and the finest farm-to-table ingredients take centerstage on the menu.

CUCINA Enoteca (2730 Via De La Valle, Flower Hill):
Opening any day now, this new Tracy Borkum venture has North County residents licking their chops in anticipation. An incredible remodel almost complete, the two-story venue will boast distinctive design and a full wine shop on the premises. The menu is bound to be perfection and we predict this place will become an instant favorite down in old Del Mar.

Café Topés (Carlsbad):
Local are giving five stars to this new joint set right in the Village and describing it as “farm style chic.” An open-air kitchen busts out famous cinnamon rolls, breakfast burritos, and for lunch -- salads, grilled cheese and more. A stunning succulent wall completes the vibe and patrons can enjoy indoor or outdoor seating.
