"Hey friends! I will be performing and hanging w the ladies of ABC's The View Thursday the 10th!" he wrote.

Minutes after Adam made the announcement, ABC sent out a press release confirming the news. The press release noted, however, that Adam's appearance would include a "taped" interview and performance.

Adam also encouraged his fans to check out his appearance on Barbara Walter's "Most Fascinating People" primetime special, which airs December 9 at 10:01 PM.

"Also look for me on Barbara Walters' Ten Most Fascinating People of 09 the night before also on ABC :)," he wrote.

Earlier this week, NBC booked Adam for a string of appearances including a stop on "The Jay Leno Show" on December 21 and one on "The Tonight Show With Conan O'Brien" on December 14.

As previously reported on AccessHollywood.com, the "American Idol" Season 8 runner-up came under fire in late November after he closed the American Music Awards on ABC with a racy performance that saw him rub a dancer's face in his nether regions in a sexual manner, kiss his male keyboardist and give the middle finger to the camera.

"Yes, sadly friends, ABC has cancelled my appearances on Kimmel and NYE. :( don't blame them. It's the FCC heat," Adam wrote on his Twitter page on Wednesday, hinting that he has also been axed from Dick Clark's "New Year's Rockin' Eve with Ryan Seacrest 2010."
