Music Video Shot at Hard Rock

It was a packed house as D Rough asked the crowd to “Put it on My Tab.”

The San Diego artist held a party for his music video premier at the Thin/Onyx downtown Friday night. The song, produced by Sriram S, is about D Rough going to a club looking for a “lady.”

“We shot the video in six hours all at the Hard Rock Hotel 207 club and some outside the club. It was totally an insane day. I was really happy with all the ladies and gents that came out to support D Rough and this project,” Producer and Director Daveed Giorgio Gazarov said.

At the end of the video they gave fans a little teaser.

“After leaving the club, D Rough went onto a Yacht which was shot as a ‘to be continued’ video for the second single,” Gazarov said.

They borrowed the 55-foot, $2 million yacht from Peter Zaleski for the shoot on San Diego harbor.

As the music industry evolves, Gazarov says they’re trying to do something a little different.

“We are trying to create a new genre in video making more like a "mini film" or should I say a mini story that the music, lyrics and the video all fit together,” he said.

The second video will be partially shot in the Bahamas, Miami and San Diego.

“We’re really trying to put San Diego on the map. There is a lot of amazing talent in San Diego and we want to represent our city,” Gazarov said.
