The song features Adam's trademark soaring vocals, as well as strings and a Led Zeppelin "Kashimir" style riff.

"'Time for Miracles' is a great song and perfectly fits the themes of the movie," Adam said in a statement to Access Hollywood. "I was thrilled to record this song for '2012' and I'm glad I had the chance to help create a unique sound for this movie."

Rob Cavallo, who previously worked with Green Day and My Chemical Romance, produced the cut written by the late Natasha Shneider and Alain Johannes of the rock group Queens of the Stone Age.

The song will be available on the "2012" soundtrack which will be released on RCA on November 10.

A rep for Adam told Access they weren't sure whether or not the song would appear on his debut CD.
