Former IMF head Dominique Strauss-Kahn will be played by Gerard Depardieu in an upcoming film.

Dominique Strauss-Kahn made headlines for his alleged foul behavior. Now, he's going to be played on screen by a man who made headlines for his actual foul behavior.

Gerard Depardieu, the veteran French actor who recently caused a stir when he urinated in the aisle of an airplane and was escorted off the flight (an incident he later apologized for), is set to play the disgraced former head of the International Monetary Fund in a film to be directed by controversy magnet Abel Ferrara ("Bad Lieutenant," "Ms. 45").

Isabelle Adjani is believed to be playing Strauss-Kahn's wife, Anne Sinclair.

Ferrara recently told French newspaper Le Monde that he plans to shoot the film in "all the places of power," including Washington D.C., Paris, and New York. It was a maid from a Manhattan hotel who accused Strauss-Kahn of sexual assault last year.

The charges against Strauss-Kahn were eventually dropped, but he still faces accusations stemming from an alleged incident in 2003 involving a French writer. Although the woman cannot press charges due to the statute of limitations, she is considering a lawsuit.
