Jerry Seinfeld Swings by Chicago's NBC Tower to Shoot “Comedians in Cars Getting Coffee”

Comedian Jerry Seinfeld swung by NBC Tower in Chicago Monday afternoon to pick up fellow comedian Steve Harvey for an episode of his hit web series “Comedians in Cars Getting Coffee.”

“Comedians in Cars Getting Coffee” debuted in 2012 and has since chalked up an impressive roster of comics featured including Louis C.K., Chris Rock, Amy Schumer, Jon Stewart, Kevin Hart and “Seinfeld” creator himself Larry David.

The 22-minute episodes showcase Jerry picking up his comedian friends in classic cars and talking casually over a cup of coffee – and naturally, of course, comedy ensues.

In a sit-down interview with NBC News, Seinfeld said he feels most at home when he’s hanging out with other comedians.

“They’re the only kind of people that I feel completely relaxed around,” he told NBC News' Brian Williams.

“It’s kind of an interesting sub-breed of humanity,” he said in the same interview. “I wanted to see if I could capture it and show people, ‘Look at this group of people. Aren’t they unusual?’”

Steve Harvey films his NBC talk show weekdays in Chicago’s NBC tower.

We’ll have to stay tuned to see more from their trip together.
