Chris Hemsworth's ‘Saturday Night Live' Promos Expose the World to Crocodile Monster

Chris Hemsworth is ready to give you a little insight into life in Australia.

The "In the Heart of the Sea" star revealed to "Saturday Night Live's" Leslie Jones that yes, they do have kangaroos all around, and yes, they have pouches. But the biggest reveal of all is about the Santa Claus from Down Under. You see, he's a crocodile, his name is Crocodile Monster, he has a penchant for eating presents and he really, really hates children.

Jones and Hemsworth filmed the new "SNL" promos outside on the iconic Rockefeller Center ice skating rink. Jones will also star in "Ghostbusters" with Hemsworth in 2016.

Hemsworth is hosting "Saturday Night Live" on Saturday, Dec. 12 with musical guest Chance the Rapper. This is his second hosting gig.

Last week Ryan Gosling made his "SNL" hosting debut and got a case of the giggles thanks to Kate McKinnon in the night's must-watch sketch. Next week's hosts are the dynamic duo of Tina Fey and Amy Poehler with musical guest Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band. Yes, Tina and Amy, together again. The duo are starring in "Sisters," out the same day as "Star Wars: The Force Awakens." Remember, you can see them both.

"Saturday Night Live" airs Saturdays, 11:30 p.m. on NBC.

(E! and NBC are both part of the NBCUniversal family.)
