Chelsea Handler Gets Star-Studded Goodbye From Ellen DeGeneres, Sandra Bullock and More on the Series Finale of “Chelsea Lately”

"I never really got a good chance to be serious and say 'thank you' and I want you to know that I am grateful for this career, thank you very much,” Handler said.

On Tuesday night, Chelsea Handler received a star-studded goodbye on the series finale of “Chelsea Lately.”

The episode began with her recurring shower bit, this time featuring Ellen DeGeneres. The daytime talk show host asked why she was never a guest on Handler’s show.

“Is it because I’m a lesbian?” DeGeneres asked.

“I didn’t even know that you were a lesbian,” Handler said. “I thought you were married to Ryan Seacrest.”

Then, actresses Jennifer Aniston, Sandra Bullock and Mary McCormack gave Handler an intervention.

McCormack insinuated that her plans with Netflix were code for a stint in rehab, Aniston said Handler had a "foul smelling body," and Bullock told the comedian she wasn't funny.

Wrapping up the episode, a slew of celebrities sang a song for Handler’s exit. Gwen Stefani, Vanessa Hugdens, Fergie, Avril Lavigne, Miley Cyrus, Gerard Butler, Alanis Morissette and many more helped deliver the tune.

Lastly, Handler gave a heartfelt goodbye to conclude her seven-year run on the program.

"I never really got a good chance to be serious and say 'thank you,' and I want you to know that I am grateful for this career, thank you very much,” Handler said. "I'll see you on Netflix!"

Handler is slated to host a Netflix talk show that is set to begin early 2016, The Associated Press reported.
