AnnaLynn McCord is ecstatic about her new love interest, played by actor Matt Lanter, on the CW’s “90210.” She’s even drawing comparisons to one of West Beverly High’s preeminent heartthrobs – Dylan McKay.
“They’re kind of welcoming him as the new Dylan,” AnnaLynn told Access Hollywood Wednesday night at The HFPA Salute To Young Hollywood Party held at Nobu in LA.
“He’s my love interest, which is about time, because [my character] Naomi, has been seriously lacking in that area!” AnnaLynn explained. “They’re throwing me a bone! It’s about time!”
AnnaLynn believes the addition of Matt is going to heat things up in the famous zip code.

“He’s sexy,” the actress exclaimed. “He’s definitely what Naomi’s been needing. It’s going to amp up the show a little bit. I think it’s going to be… I think it’s going to be hot!”

As for the return of Tori Spelling as Donna Martin, Anna is hoping to see her come back again.
“I certainly hope so!” she added. “I would welcome that.”
