Trista Sutter Weighs In On ‘Bachelor' Finale

As Jason Mesnick gets ready to reveal his choice on the finale of "The Bachelor," leaving behind another jilted suitor who may one day become the "Bachelorette," the woman who first held that reality title has shared her thoughts on this season of the hit ABC show.

And while Trista Sutter may not have found love during her time on the very first season of "The Bachelor," she found exactly what she was looking for as ABC's first "Bachelorette," marrying Ryan Sutter in a lavish TV wedding in 2003.

So as someone with a wealth of reality looking-for-love experience, which girl did she think would make the best fit for Jason as he makes his choice between Melissa and Molly on Monday's finale?

"I have always thought Melissa was adorable and fit really well with Jason, from what I could tell," Trista told AccessHollywood.com. "As someone who's been in his shoes, I know you don't see all of what goes on, so it's hard to say who is 'best' for him."

Spoilers have been abound about the outcome of "The Bachelor," with reports hinting at some serious drama between Jason and the two final hopeful Mrs. Mesnicks.

Although Trista wasn't able to comment on the outcome, she did say one of host Christopher Harris' trademark teases may finally come to fruition.

"All I can say is that Chris' usual saying of it being 'the most dramatic…' definitely fits for what will air the night of the finale," she revealed. "People won't want to miss it!"

But for whichever girl Jason ends up with after the dust and the drama have settled, Trista offered a few words of wisdom, thanks to her husband of six years, Ryan.

"I guess I would say what Ryan always says. It's what you do with your relationship after the show that matters," she noted. "Work hard, play hard and be grateful for finding someone to share your life with."

And is there one "Bachelor"-pursuing gal who Trista thinks would make a good "Bachelorette"?

"Out of the girls that aren't in the final two, I would definitely choose Jillian to be a future 'Bachelorette,'" Trista said. "She seems to have everything going for her. She's intelligent and open, articulate and honest. And she's obviously a fan favorite. She seems like a no-brainer!"

Trista's stint on reality TV netted her more than just a husband – she and Ryan have an 18-month-old son, Max, and she is expecting the couple's second child in April

So would she ever let her kids follow in their parents' reality TV footsteps?

"I hope to be the kind of mother that isn't judgmental, but supportive, of my children's choices. I would be hard pressed to tell either of them not to follow in my footsteps as that would be a hypocritical," she admitted. "Bottom line, if it's something that isn't dangerous to themselves or someone else, I will support them in whatever endeavors they want to pursue."
