Rachel Weisz, Director Hubby Splitting

Couple never married, but were together for nine years

Another day, another Hollywood power couple boards the bus to Splitsville.

Actress Rachel Weisz, 40, and her director husband, Darren Aronofsky, 41, are separating after nine years together, a rep for Aronofsky told E! News. The pair, who have a four-year-old son, Henry, have been together since 2001 and engaged since 2005.

Weisz, who starred in "The Mummy," "The Constant Garrdner and "The Fountain," once acknowledged her hesitation to get hitched to Aronofsky, who directed "The Wrestler." But she sounded like she was ready for a longterm commitment last January, in an appearance on ABC's "The View."

"Funnily enough, just recently I suddenly felt like I really would like to get married," Weisz told the chatter klatch. "It's just a feeling. I know it's a funny thing."

E! noted there have been rumors about Weisz and Daniel Craig. She and the 007 star allegedly did some serious Bond-ing while working on the film "Dream House" earlier this year, though neither has confirmed any romance.

The couple plan to share custody of Henry and continue to raise him in New York.
