Oprah Already Has Dress For Obama's Inauguration

Oprah Winfrey has been a longtime supporter of Barack Obama and the talk show host is so sure the Illinois senator will win the election that she has a dress already picked out for his inauguration.

Oprah called into Power 105.1’s Ed Lover Morning Show in New York on Tuesday and said she’s been imagining a win by Obama since February with the help of three powerful democratic women and a “vision board.”

“I started [planning the dress] in February. I was speaking with Michelle [Obama] and Caroline Kennedy and Maria Shriver,” Oprah said. “We were all doing a big rally out in California [and] at the end of the rally Michelle Obama said something powerful, ‘I want you to leave here and envision Barack Obama taking the oath of office.’”

Oprah said she left the rally and started her process of imagining Obama’s victory on Election Day.

“I created a vision board. I had never had a vision board before. I came home, I got me a board and put Barack Obama’s picture on it and I put a picture of my dress I want to wear to the inauguration,” ” the daytime talk show host told Ed.

Even before the majority of the votes were cast in the election, Oprah said she had a good feeling and decided to let her inauguration dress get some fresh air.

“Last week I said to the stylist, ‘Take it out of the closet. Let’s take it out. Let’s hang it up, and let it air out,’ Oprah said.
