California Wild Fires Threaten Oprah's Mansion

The wildfires raging in Southern California are threatening Oprah Winfrey's 23,000 square feet mansion, according to a report.

Winfrey was filming in Chicago yesterday, but movers were seen packing the talk show queen's belongings outside her $50 million Montecito home just in case they had to jet, Usmagazine.com reported

The blaze was said to be within a few miles of her property, a six bedroom mansion in the same neighborhood as Michael Douglass and Rob Lowe, according to Us.

More than 30,000 have been asked to evacuate the celebrity enclaves and coastal towns near Santa Barbara since the four-day-old inferno began. The cause of the blaze remains under investigation.

"The fires are nearby, but her house is not within the mandatory evacuation area," a Winfrey rep told Us. "We're continuing to monitor."
