Octuplet Mom Doing First Interview With NBC's Ann Curry

Nadya Suleman will give her first interview since giving birth to octuplets to NBC NewsAnn Curry, Access Hollywood has learned.

The exclusive interview will air on the “Today” show and “Dateline” in the coming days.

“That was always a dream of mine, to have a large family, a huge family, and — I just longed for certain connections and attachments with another person that I really lacked, I believe, growing up,” Nadya told Ann in an excerpt from the interview. 

She added that she felt like she was lacking a “feeling of self and identity,” calling her childhood “pretty dysfunctional.”

She first became pregnant after seven years of trying, thanks to in vitro fertilization — and said she knew she wanted to do it again.

“Then I just kept going [back],” she said.

The new mom was discharged from the hospital early Thursday after giving birth to six boys and two girls on January 26.
