FBI Investigating Leaked Nude Scarlett Johansson Pictures

Leaked photos of Scarlett Johannson in the nude has the feds hunting for a hacker and her lawyer threatening to sue.

An FBI spokesperson told The Wall Street Journal that their Los Angeles branch "is investigating the person or group responsible for a series of computer intrusion involving high profile figures," including Johansson.

The X-rated pictures that surfaced on the internet Wednesday are "highly personal and private photographs" that "capture our client self-posing in her own home in a state of undress and/or topless," said Johansson's lawyer, Marty Singer, according to TMZ

TMZ reports that Singer has sent out threatening letters to various sites, including TheDirty.com, demanding they take down the "stolen copyright protected private photographs" immediately or face legal action. The Washington Post reports the pictures originated on niche video site WorldStarHipHop.com.

The "Iron Man 2" star joins a long list of stars who are cooperating with the FBI to bust a celebrity hacking ring first reported on in March. According to the gossip site, the e-mail accounts of as many as 50 celebs have been hacked, including Jessica Alba and Vanessa Hudgens.

"Gossip Girl" star Blake Lively also had her own share of scandalous photo woes. Hackers released a series of nude cell phone self-portraits they say are of the actress, but Lively's rep denied the claim and threatened to sue anyone who published the pics, TMZ reported in June.
