Jon & Kate Will Date on New Episodes

"Jon & Kate Plus 8" returns to television Monday

Jon Gosselin's romances could soon move from the tabloids to the small screen.

TLC president Eileen O’Neill said "Jon and Kate Plus 8" could show the ex-couple dating other people when their hit show returns Monday for the first time since the reality stars announced a split in June, Usmagazine.com reported.

"As far as new people and places that may be cycling into Jon and Kate's life, we are taking it on a case-by-case basis," O’Neill told a television industry group on Thursday.

O’Neill said the network never planned for what she called the family’s “entertaining chaos” to dissolve amid acrimony and rumors of infidelity. She called the decision to continue filming “unprecedented television.”

"Jon and Kate have never said they were perfect, which has made them relatable and created an undeniable connection with the viewers. We will continue to capture this family's journey in a respectful and sensitive way," she said.

There will be changes.

The Gosselins have already ditched the iconic sofa they used for confessionals and now tape interviews from separate armchairs, O’Neill dished. Viewers can also expect to see both parents camping and making pizza with their brood of eight – separately.

In Monday’s episode, Kate will talk about how the divorce proceedings have changed her life, according to Us.

"It is my new attitude that I'm going to do things I've never done before," she says.

As for the kids, Kate says not to worry -- they'll be fine.

"They are still kids, they still enjoy things," she says. "They still want to do things. It is not their fault that what has transpired has transpired.”
