Brit Walks Off Stage: β€œDon't Smoke Weed!”

Britney Spears got smoked out.

The whip-toting pop tart walked off stage at GM Place in Vancouver just an hour into her performance Wednesday night when it became "uncomfortable and unsafe for the performers" because the arena was filled with smoke, according to reports.

Spears, who returned to the stage after a half hour, advised audience members to cut back on the reefer.

"Thanks, Vancouver," she said. "Don't smoke weed!"

The singer pranced off stage in a sparkling bra and bare midriff just 15 minutes into her "Circus" tour concert -- reportedly because she was overwhelmed by the billowing clouds of smoke, the Vancouver Sun reported.

The stage lights dimmed and after a half hour a voice came over the loud speaker.

"It's become uncomfortable and unsafe for the performers, including Ms. Spears. The show will resume as soon as the air around the stage is clear. The performance will not proceed until the air clears," the announcer said.

Spears returned to the stage 30 minutes later and sang "If U Seek Amy" and "Me Against the Music," the paper reported.

"We want to apologize to all the fans who attended our Vancouver show tonight for the brief pause in Britney's set," read a statement on her website. "Crew members above the stage became ill due to a ventilation issue."
