Adele Lands Vogue's March Cover

Coveted gig comes after British singer takes six Grammys

After winning a whopping six Grammys (including Album of the Year), singer Adele has landed another covetable title: cover model for Vogue's March issue.

Back in December, rumors flew that the fashion bible had been calling in designer outfits for the plus-size star, making her a likely candidate for the March issue, which Lady Gaga covered last year.

Now, fans of the singer have their wish: The star looks positively radiant in a series of fashion shots in the magazine, as well as wearing a cinched lacy look on the cover. Inside the magazine, Jonathan van Meter's interview covers everything from celebrity crushes (she apparently loves Beyonce and Alec Baldwin) to her road to recovery following throat surgery.

She also reveals that she has a real distaste for the red carpet -- "I literally get a stomach cramp" -- so fashion fans hoping for more appearances by the starlet in the kind of desigenr garb she sports in Vogue may not necessarily get their wish.

At Sunday's Grammys, the star wore a long black Armani gown for the red carpet and knee-length sheer polka dot dress to perform for the first time publicly since her surgery.
