Mario: Leaked ‘Emergency Room' Song Not Rihanna's New Single

What seemed to be a new Rihanna song leaked to the Internet this week was just a demo for the singer, and does not actually feature Rihanna, according to Vibe.

“Emergency Room,” which was widely spread on blogs over the last few days, seemed to be collaboration between singer Mario and Rihanna (who gets a shout-out in the song) and features lyrics about pulling out a boyfriend’s IV in the emergency room.

But in a statement to Vibe, Mario told the mag that the track was a demo featuring another singer’s vocals.

“This was a rough cut that I was working on and wanted to present it to Rihanna and her record label,” he said. “Those aren’t Rihanna’s vocals on the song at all. The record was far from done. I’m still proud of the record and want to make sure the truth is out there.”

As previously reported on AccessHollywood.com, Rihanna has been lying low since an alleged violent incident with Chris Brown on Saturday night, canceling two upcoming performances in Jakarta and Malaysia.
