Live Like Hef for Under $28 Million

Now the "Girls Next Door" can really be, well, next door.

Hugh Hefner and his estranged wife Kimberley have listed their personal residence, located right next door to the Playboy mansion, for sale at $27,995,000.

The two-story 7,300-square-foot English Manor-style home was built in 1929 and bought by the Hefners in 1998, the Los Angeles Times reported.

The estate sits behind private gates on 2.3 acres and features a newly remodeled kitchen with a morning room and butler's pantry, two staff rooms, formal living and dining rooms, a library, a family room, five bedrooms and seven bathrooms.

The grounds back up to the Los Angeles Country Club and include a pool and room for a tennis court.

The Hefners are selling the home because their two sons will soon head to college, according to The Times.

Hugh Hefner, 82, is the founded Playboy Enterprises in 1953. Nine years later Kimberley Hefner was born, and she became Playboy's Playmate of the Month in January 1988 and Playmate of the Year in 1989.

The Hefners wed in 1989 but hten split, amicably, 10 year later, while remaining legally married. They have two sons together.
