Linda Hamilton In Talks For ‘Terminator Salvation'

Sarah Connor could be facing off against the Terminators one more time.

Linda Hamilton, who played the iconic role in "Terminator" and "Terminator 2: Judgment Day," is in negotiations to reprise her character in "Terminator Salvation" – at least vocally.

"My contribution would be voice-over," she told MTV News. "I would probably be very happy to loan my voice depending on what the material is. Wait and see. They're already writing it. We've been negotiating it."

But what the film will have in store for Sarah is unclear to the actress.

"I haven't read it yet. I don't know what direction they will go in," she said.

Still, she seems more excited about "Terminator Salvation," the fourth film in the series, than 2003's "Terminator 3: Rise of the Machines," which she passed on.

"They offered me a part," Linda said. "I read it and I knew my character arc was so complete in the first two, and in the third one it was a negligible character. She died halfway through and there was no time to mourn her. It was kind of disposable, so I said no thank you."

"Terminator Salvation" will follow Sarah's son, John (played by Christian Bale), as he battles against Skynet in the dystopian years following Judgment Day.
