Kate Hudson Joins A-Rod's Line-Up

Page Six links the steroid-slugger and the starlet

With the Yankees on a winning streak and his performance suffering no apparent post-steroids deflation, Alex Rodriguez can now focus his attention on making an even bigger mess of his personal life. To that end, he is said to have spent the weekend canoodling with actress Kate Hudson.

"Yes, they were here together," a server from the Mustang Grill at 85th and 2nd told Page Six, though she didn't witness firsthand any necking.

Yet another source told the gossip sheet that they saw the pair outside 15 Central Park West, where A-Rod has a home.

The two stars were introduced in November at the reopening of the Fontainebleau hotel in Miami Beach and met up again in January with a group of friends for dinner and drinks in Manhattan.

Less than two weeks after returning from hip surgery, A-Rod has helped the Yankees get back on track, leading them on a 7-2 run that has the team nipping at the Red Sox' heels, though both teams are looking up at the overachieving Blue jays, who sit in first place at 26-14.

In 2000, Hudson had her coming out in "Almost Famous" and married rocker Chris Robinson of the Black Crowes. A decade later she's still looking to make a second good movie and her love-life has been even more troubled than her career.

She ditched Robinson for "You, Me and Dupree" co-star Owen Wilson, who subsequently ended up hospitalized after a suicide attempt brought on by their split.

Hudson was then linked to "funnyman" Dax Shepard, before hooking up with Tour de France champ Lance Armstrong.

A-Rod's painfully well-documented romantic entanglements have included his charming wife Cynthia, a rather muscular dancer, and possibly an aging pop legend.
