Kate Gosselin: I'm Lonely

"Jon & Kate" reality mom tells Larry King she is lonely but happy

Kate Gosselin is keeping mum on the intimate secrets of her marriage but the reality TV mom said she's been lonely since her split from her hubby.

"I'm lonely, but I'm very busy," the 34-year-old mom said. "Actually, I'm alright."

In an interview with CNN's "Larry King" that aired Tuesday night, the "Jon &  Kate Plus 8" star said she wonders daily why her 10-year marriage to Jon ended but is keeping her lips sealed about any suspicions she may have.

"My main concern is my kids," she said. "I don't want them to see or hear anything on TV that I didn't discuss with them. We discussed what they need to know at their developmental age group."

"It's all in the vault."

The mother of eight said she isn't dating because she's "too busy" despite Jon's very public bachelorhood-embracing nights out on the town and the bevy of blonde babes he keeps in steady rotation.

"I'm really not worried about it," she said.

The pair announced their split on June 22 episode of their wildly popular TLC reality show. The couple has 9-year-old twins and 5-year-old sextuplets together.

Kate admitted to King that she is a "control freak" who typically will "freak out about everything" but she's been calming down lately.

"I can honestly say that there is so much on my plate right now, that I absolutely cannot react that way to every little thing that comes by, or big thing," she said.

The interview came the same day as Jon's rumblings that he wanted to quit the show and leave his "nightmare" life for a regular 9-to-5 job. Kate said she didn't plan on leaving the show.

"Myself and the kids will continue the show," Kate said. "I signed my name to a contract and I am going to do my best to make that work as long as it is healthy and safe for myself and the kids."
