Bret Michaels: ‘There's No Lawsuit' Against Tony Awards

Despite a serious injury to the head during the opening performance of the Tony Awards earlier this month, Bret Michaels said he's not looking to sue.

"All in all, I'd like to think I feel okay," the "Rock Of Love" star told People of his nose fracture and busted lip. "But I got to be honest with you, I feel pretty beat up."

But the rocker isn't looking to drag the matter into a courtroom.

"I want to make very clear to everybody that – first and foremost – I was honored to be asked to be at the Tonys. I'd never done it before and in all my life it's not something I thought I'd be on. I was really excited," he continued."There's no lawsuit. I'm not doing any of that. I'm taking the high road."

He's also hitting the paved road shortly.

Poison and Def Leppard kick off a tour on June 23 and the rocker/reality star also has a book, "Roses & Thorns," hitting the shelves in late summer.
