Citrus Heights, California— The holidays should be a magical time for all children, but for 80,000 California foster children the holidays can be a difficult and lonely time.
To help, Sleep Train is collecting new toys for local foster children now through December 14th at their 80 retail locations. Sleep Train is asking the community to make a foster child’s holiday wish come true by donating new unwrapped toys, games, books and movies for foster kids of all ages. The toys collected will be given to annual agency partners just in time for the holidays.
“As economics of family life gets tighter, many families who care for children in foster care especially feel the financial squeeze. That’s why donating to the Sleep Train Foster Kids Secret Santa Toy Drive is critical for our foster families to help ensure the children in their care get all of the things every child deserves – a loving family, a safe environment for them to grow, a good education and a toy chosen especially for them.” Dennis Bush, Aspiranet Communication Director.
