LA JOLLA CONCOURS D'ELEGANCE... puts on the parking brake, for an enjoyable spell, at Ellen Browning Scripps Park. You got it, you'll be enjoying ocean views while you auto-it-up, strolling from one exquisitely crafted auto creation to the next. A ticket to the 14th annual auto-stravaganza is $65, and there will be a hosted bar, as well as bites from a line-up of area eateries. And, of course, all of those Rolls Royces and Porches and gleaming sports cars and offbeat roadsters. Concours-oriented doings are actually on the move throughout the weekend leading up to April 8, with Aston Martin Art Deco Party on Saturday, April 7 serving as one posh party among others. Eye it all, as you're daydreaming of summer road trips, then make for La Jolla to see some of the daydreamingest machines around, just feet from where you linger.
